Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I get too much SPAM! Help Me!
A: Visit our Downloads Section for Anti-SPAM tools.
Q: I get Emails that have *****SPAM***** or {SPAM?} in the subject - what is this about, and what can I do about it?
A: Emails with this tag in the subject were marked by our mail server as a possible junk email. Because of this marking, Outlook and Outlook Express can be easily configured to remove them. In Outlook Express, Click on the "Tools" Menu, then select "Message Rules --> Mail ..." When the New Mail Rule window pops up, you have some options. Under "1. Select the Conditions for your rule:" click the box next to "Where the Subject line contains specific words" to put a check mark there. Under "2. Select the Actions for your rule:" put a check mark in "Move it to the specified folder." In part "3. Rule Description," click on "contains specific words" and type in "SPAM" click "Add" then click "OK." Click the word "specified" and select the "Deleted Items" folder. Under "4. Name of the rule:" type SPAM. Click ok and you're ready to go. You can review messages marked spam by checking your "Deleted Items" folder in Outlook Express. Empty this folder out occasionally by right clicking on it and choosing "Empty Folder." For additional help with Microsoft Office Outlook, please contact us at 816-370-2546 or support@isotech-inc.com

IP name possibly forged [65.201.0.x]', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79" What do I do?

A: These settings can be viewed in the Technical Support area.
Q: I received an E-mail from Administrator@IsotechNetworks.net asking for my password, or saying that my account had some problem. Did Isotech send me that?
A: Isotech does not send requests for account changes through e-mail.
If you receive an e-mail from Isotech, it will come in the form: Tony@ , Tom@ ,
or Eileen@ Isotech-Inc.com
There is no such account as Admin@isotechnetworks.net or
administrator@isotechnetworks.net or manager@isotechnetworks.net (and other
variations).
We will ask you to call into our office to verify any account changes, we will
not do these changes through e-mail.
Q: I received an E-mail from ebay or paypal asking for my account information, should I respond?
A: Paypal and Ebay do not send unsolicited e-mails asking for your information. Only if you requested a specific piece of information will they send it to you. If you are still worried about your account, go directly to the website in question and log in. DO NOT click on the links in the e-mail.
Q: My bank/friend/work sent me an E-mail, should I open the attachment or click on the link?
A: Never open an attachment from someone you do not know, or something you did not request. Viruses and Spyware can attack the computers of people who have your e-mail and then attempt to send you a virus. When in doubt, err on the side of caution. Your bank should also not send you critical information over e-mail. When in doubt, call the source of the e-mail and ask about it.
